This experience is land-based only. Reel Fun Fishing is fully covered by public liability insurance, and all participants are required to sign a waiver before the session begins.

 

Acknowledgement of Risk:

I understand that participating in a fishing session with Reel Fun Fishing involves outdoor activities that may include walking on uneven surfaces such as rock walls, rocks, riverbeds, creeks, and bushland.

I acknowledge that there are natural hazards in these environments, including (but not limited to): slippery or unstable ground, rocks, roots, and other uneven surfaces, as well as the presence of snakes, ticks, and other wildlife.

I also understand that fishing involves the use of hooks, lines, and other equipment, which can result in minor injuries or accidents if not used properly.

 

Weather Conditions:

In the event of unsafe weather conditions (including storms, strong winds, or heavy rain), the session may be rescheduled to a new day for the safety of all participants.

 

Safety and Supervision:

A qualified Reel Fun Fishing employee will be present for the duration of the session. The employee holds a current First Aid Certificate and carries a First Aid Kit at all times.

The employee also holds a valid Yellow Disability Card and is trained to provide inclusive support for participants of all abilities.

Participant Responsibility:

I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the Reel Fun Fishing staff and to behave responsibly around other participants and the natural environment.

Release of Liability:

By agreeing to fish with Reel Fun Fishing, I acknowledge that I am participating voluntarily and understand the potential risks involved.

I agree that Reel Fun Fishing and its employees will not be held responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur during the activity, except where required by Australian law.
